Omara Overview¶
Omara is a digital health platform that enables an operator to power a marketplace of trusted and interoperable health, wellness, and betterment solutions. As a digital marketplace, it’s purpose is to engage a community of consumers and providers of these solutions, enable discovery of services, facilitate access to them, and ease the exchange of services between them.
Out of the box, Omara provides a number of components and services that enable application developers to join a trusted ecosystem, easily interoperate with other solutions, and access a variety of services to support or expand their own capabilities. It also provides the platform operator with an initial set of services required to support a trusted exchange of health and wellness information across a governed ecosystem, a marketplace to manage their connected communities, and administrative consoles to configure, manage, and maintain the overall platforms infrastructure, content, and communities of users and services.

These services are utilized to provide core capabilities necessary to managing a digital health ecosystem, and for connected applications to interoperate with the platform and other connected solutions.
Analytics¶
Omara comes with a set of components to support big data analytics. These services are utilized by the operator to gain insights into operational aspects of the platform, as well as by solutions providers wishing to develop analytics and reporting solutions based upon data made available via the Exchange.
